The folding chairs at the Activity Center and Grand Hall were recently replaced. On Monday, March 30th from 10 a.m. – noon at the Grand Hall we will be selling the old chairs to residents. The cost will be $2.00 per chair and there is a limit of 20 chairs per household.

This is a great opportunity to pick up some “extra seating” for your parties and events at a very low cost!

Announcements The Florida Commission on Human Relations (FCHR) requires that all 55+ communities register with them every 2 years. One of the requirements is that a community be able to substantiate that a minimum of 80% of their units / homes are occupied by at least one (1) person 55 or older. This is the purpose of the 55+ survey. It is extremely important to have these surveys completed by each household.

If you have not completed your survey, PLEASE take a few minutes and fill out the survey and return it to the RSO no later than close of business Friday, April 3rd. If you don’t have your survey, copies are available at the RSO.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this important matter!

Progress Energy will be replacing 13 electric poles in the community. The poles that will be replaced are located at:

  • North RV lot by the water treatment facility (1 pole)
  • Behind water treatment facility (1 pole)
  • Behind the homes on Pennbrooke Parkway (by the 4th hole of the Sanctuary up to the preserve).  There will be 11 poles replaced in this area.

This scope of work for this project includes:

  • March 16th – 20th - Install polyurethane mats in areas where heavy equipment will be traveling. This will protect the turf and the golf cart path.
  • March 23rd – 27th – Install the new utility poles

This schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions. There should be no interruption of service to install the new poles.
