TRASH / YARD WASTE & SPECIAL ITEMS PICK UP INFORMATION FROM PROGRESSIVE WASTE
Posted on Tuesday, October 28 @ 12:50:56 (3 Reads)
Announcements
  • All yard waste must be under 4 feet in length.
  • Branches can be no larger they 6 inch in diameter and stacked no farther back than 3 feet curbside.
  • Bio-degradable bags are preferred (or a trash can) for yard waste. If residents use regular plastic bags, Progressive crew has to tear them open and dump the yard waste in the truck. Sometimes this can cause leaves to fall in the road if a bag doesn’t tear open easily.
  • All large metal items have to be called in to Progressive Waste (352-323-0824) for a different truck.
  • Furniture and other household items can be picked up by the rear-load truck, but not by the automatic truck. If residents could call before your Wednesday trash pick- up, Progressive Waste can get it picked up for them on Wednesday.
