NOTICE OF SPECIAL BOARD MEETING

DATE: TUESDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2014
TIME: 7:00 TO 10:00 P.M.
PLACE: GRAND HALL

PURPOSE: MEET WITH UTILTIES, INC. AND ENGINEERS FROM CPH TO DISCUSS THE HYDRAULIC ENGINEERING STUDY OF THE WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM IN PENNBROOKE

The Board of Directors will meet at the time and place noted above to discuss the engineering study of the water distribution system in Pennbrooke. Representatives from Utilities, Inc. and CPH (engineering firm that did the study) will be present. There will be an opportunity for residents to ask questions about the study. A copy of the study is posted on the PENN at the Pennbrooke website and is also available at the RSO. This will be the only agenda item discussed.

Announcements FIELD WORK FOR THE ENGINEER’S ROADWAY EVALUATION / REPORT WILL BEGIN NEXT TUESDAY, OCTOBER 21ST AND WILL TAKE 6 -10 DAYS, DEPENDING ON THE WEATHER. THIS FIELD WORK WILL REQUIRE BORING DOWN INTO THE ROADS THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY. UES WILL PROVIDE FLAGMEN TO DIRECT TRAFFIC AS NEEDED.

WE ANTICIPATE THIS PROJECT BEING DONE WITH AS LITTLE DISRUPTION TO PENNBROOKE RESIDENTS AS POSSIBLE AND APPRECIATE YOUR COOPERATION.

REQUEST FOR CANDIDATES - 2015 BOARD OF DIRECTORS

TO: Pennbrooke Homeowners’ Association Members

Subject: 2015 Election of PHOA Board of Directors

The PHOA Annual Membership meeting will take place at the Pennbrooke Fairways Grand Hall, 32825 Pennbrooke Parkway, Leesburg FL, 34748, at 7:00 P.M. on January 13, 2015.

Our annual election of new board members will be a part of this meeting. You will be electing five (5) board members for a two (2) year term. A subsequent notice, which will specify the agenda and other important information concerning the meeting, will be sent out by December 12, 2014.

A Nominating Committee has been formed to facilitate the process of identifying candidates for the election. All persons wishing to be a candidate in this election can pick up the Nomination Application form at the Residents Service Office (RSO). You can also print a copy from the Pennbrooke website. Please complete the application and return it along with a resume or cover letter to the Nominating Committee by hand delivering it to the RSO no later than 4:00 P.M. Monday, November 17, 2014. Please note: To serve on the Board per Florida Statute 720.306(9)(b): A person who is delinquent in the payment of any fee, fine, or other monetary obligation to the Association for more than 90 days is not eligible for board membership. A person who has been convicted of any felony in this state or in a United States District or Territorial Court, or has been convicted of any offense in another jurisdiction which would be considered a felony if committed in this state, is not eligible for board membership unless such felon’s civil rights have been restored for at least 5 years as of the date on which such person seeks election to the board. The validity of any action by the board is not affected if it is later determined that a member of the board is ineligible for board membership.
