Questions Two residents offered to pay $10,000 towards the cost to install a fountain in the pond on the southwest corner of Countryside and Oak Park. Currently there is no electricity near that pond, so a new service needs to be installed. Costs for the fountain are as follows:
$6,543.31 - Fountain the same as the one in the Grand Hall pond except white lights instead of color.
$1,500 - Leesburg Electric – Install a secondary handhole box - from the closest location that wouldn't require boring under a road or driveway.
$3800 - Build a 100 amp main service to feed fountain, install controller box.
Total cost for project will be $11,843.31 minus $10,000 from homeowners = $1,843.31 to be paid by PHOA.

Besides the initial cost there would be some ongoing costs:
$70-$80/month to operate.
Maintenance contract would be $800/year.

The PHOA Board of Directors would like to get the opinion of the community on whether we should pursue this.
If you would like to give your opinion on this, you can:
- Speak to a Board member,
- Put a note in a Board member's mailbox
- Send an email to BoardofDirectors@Pennbrooke.org

Security A home was burglarized on Timbercrest Dr. It happened sometime between 4:30-7:30 on the 4th of February.  Entry was gained from back door of the lanai and then the sliders into the house were forced open.  Several items were missing.

This notice is being provided for your awareness. Ensure all entries to your home are locked when you are away from home even if you are “in the neighborhood”. Advise neighbors when you will be away for an extended period of time so that we can watch out for each other. We are a gated community but should still take the right measures to protect our homes.

You should call the police if you see anything suspicious and need assistance. And advise our Community Association Manager (360-1001 or PropertyManager@Pennbrooke.org) and the Communications Committee (CommunicationsCommittee@Pennbrooke.org) of such instances so that we can alert the community.
